Note
The father of John Osborn may be a John Osborn who was born circa 1591 and was probably the John Osborne of Weymouth. Undocumented research states John came from England in 1644, and records show he settled in Windsor, Connecticut.
John Osborn is listed among the early settlers of Windsor and he is considered on of the founders of this first colony in Connecticut along relatives with Bygod Eggleston, Thomas Dibble, and Richard Oldage, his father-in-law. He married Ann Oldage on May 19, 1644 or 1645 in Windsor. She is reported to have been born circa 1625 in Dorchester, England, and died on August 28, 1689 in Windsor.
John and Ann were living beside John, Nathaniel, and Samuel, and all the daughters except Ann.
John Osborn signed a petition to establish the town of Killingworth in 1663 (and John Owen, the father of his future son-in-law Josiah Owen also signed, apparently both having land interests in the Hammonosett area).

Note
Nn Oldage was the only daughter of Richard Oldage, one of the original colonists of Windsor, CT. Undocumented research argues that she was born circa 1625 in Dorchester, England.ed), and died on August 28, 1689 in Windsor.
She married John Osborn on May 19, 1645 (1644?) in Windsor.
Children (according to researchers Savage and Parsons):
- John (b. January 10, 1645/6);
- Ann (b. January 15, 1647/8; married November 12, 1663, Humphrey Prior, d. September 29, 1682; since she predeceased he parents, she does not appear in their wills, but her son Daniel Prior is named in John's will);
- Nathaniel (b. March 10, 1649/50);
- Samuel (b. July 25, 1652, died soon);
- Mary (b. April 16, 1655; married October 22, 1674, Josiah Owen - see below);
- Hannah (b. December 18, 1657; married 1st Elias Shadduck, and 2nd, March 6, 1678, Benjamin Eggleston};
- Samuel (b. May 8, 1660 - Parsons has 1668);
- Esther (b. August 9, 1662);
- Isaac (b. September 28, 1664, died at 9 years - possibly November 24, 1673);
- Sarah (b. February 8, 1666/7).
John and Ann were living beside their children John, Nathaniel, and Samuel, and all the daughters except Ann.
After John's death in 1686, his will gave her control of all his real and personal property except one piece of land for son John.
Ann Osborn died just three years later. Her 1689 probate abstract lists John Osborn, age 43 years, Nathaniel Osborn age 36, Mary Owen, Samuel Osborn age 26, Hester Owen age 22, Sarah Wright age 20, Hannah Egleston age 24. (5) The inventory was taken by Samuel Grant and Isaac Morgan. Administrators were her sons John & Samuel Osborn. Nathaniel Bissell and Job Drake, son of John Drake, were to distribute the estate.
The exact site of her grave is not recorded, but there were many early burials in this cemetery including the grave of her son-in-law John Owen, so it is quite possible she was laid to rest here.

Note
Richard Oldage (aka Aldage) is counted as one of the founding settlers of Windsor, Ct. He arrived in 1639 with the party of Rev. Ephraim Huet who came from England with other members of the Church of England to act as colleague with Rev. Mr. Warham at Windsor. Richard had evidently married in England years before and produced a daughter, Ann Oldage, who also made the voyage across the Atlantic to the colonies. She married John Osborn at Windsor on May 19, 1644/5.
The exact location of Richard's grave is not recorded, but this cemetery was in use in this period where his son-in-law John Osborn was buried in 1686.
