    Henry LOKER was born on 7 Feb 1576 in Bures, St Mary, Suffolk, England. He
    was buried on 25 Feb 1631 in the churchyard of Burnes Church, Bures, St Mary, Essex,
    England. He died in 1631 in Bures St. Mary, Essex, Eng. Henry was a glover, not
    yet in his apprenticeship when his mother made her will in Feb. 1592. Like his
    parents and grandparents, he lived in the southern part of the parish of Bures St.
    Mary which is in Essex. Apparently in his lifetime he dropped the surname
    Riddlesdale and began regularly using the alias Loker instead, a pattern which his
    children followed in New England. In his will, dated 22 February 1630/31, witnessed
    by John Isaack, Jefferie Hust, and John Parmiter, and proved 15 April 16 31, he
    called himself Henrie Loker of Bures St.Mary, Essex, glover, and requested burial in
    the churchyard.
    "The Loker family appear early (1639) in Sudbury, MA. where they consistently used
    the name Loker. Elizabeth Loker, widow, died there March 18 , 1648. Henry was
    proprietor in 1639, freeman in 1643, married Hannah Brewer March 24, 1647, and died
    October 14, 1688. John took the oath of fidelity in 1645, was freeman the following
    year, and died in 1654. He had a wife Mary."
    Henry LOKER and Elizabeth FRENCH were married about 1603 in Sudbury, Suffolk,
