He died 2 July 1678; admin. granted July 15 foll'g to Edward Gilman and Abigail his wife, dau. of deceased. His brother Moses gave a receipt in full to the estate. Stephen Paul of Kittery, shipwright, and Katherine his wife, and Edward Gilman of Exeter, yeoman, and Abigail his wide, sold land 7 June 1682 "which was our deceased fathers Antipas Mavericke".
